Περιγραφή Μαθήματος

This practice-oriented workshop will focus on issues concerning the design and use of supplementary teaching materials, for example worksheets or computer assisted activities, for courses of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) for all levels of education. We will discuss the necessary steps to decide what kind of materials would be necessary for supplementing existing course books, in order to reach a specific communication goal. This goal will be determined with the help of the “communicative skills descriptors” given in the Common Curriculum for Foreign Languages (CCFL). Further on, the determination of the required material will lead us to the design and use of supplementary material for the classroom. Finally, an evaluation sequence will be held, in which we will review the contents of the workshop.
