Περιγραφή Μαθήματος

 

The aim of this course is to introduce 7th semester students to a number of Web 2.0 tools that can facilitate the teaching procedure in the EFL classroom and stimulate learners’ interest. Students will be encouraged to experiment with Web 2.0 tools so as to be able to design activities that will spice up standard textbook materials and engage learners of English in interactive and meaningful activities. Learning theories, learning styles and strategies will come into play but, as this is course is designed to offer hands-on experience rather than theoretical knowledge, emphasis will be placed on students identifying the applicability of web 2.0 tools in the EFL classroom, their benefits as well as their drawbacks.
