 CROSS-LINGUISTIC MEDIATION IN TEACHING AND TESTING

This e-seminar --courtesy of the "Research Centre for Language Teaching, Testing and Assessment" (RCeL) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (www.rcel.enl.uoa.gr)-- is a follow up of the Foreign Language Teaching Professional Development Programme entitled 'Cross-Linguistic Mediaton in Teaching and Testing'. The programme was offered to English language instructors from the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Elda (Alicante, Spain) by RCeL experts and was carried out from 9 to 14 November in Athens, Greece, thanks to an Erasmus+ KA1 agreement signed by the two institutions. While face-to-face teaching in Athens involved lectures, seminars and peer observation sessions, this e-seminar aims to extend the participants' learning experience by providing them with digital materials and further references, as well as with guided practice for the development of teaching and testing materials for cross-linguistic mediation.
